Our Home Maintenance & Repair Referral Program seeks to assists seniors and adults with disabilities to remain independently in their homes by providing a referral service to connect clients to reliable home maintenance handypersons. We work with a variety of providers who can competently perform small scale home maintenance tasks for a fee in and around the home. Tasks can include:
Indoor Tasks
- Small interior painting jobs
- Minor general repairs
- Safety bar and handrail installation
- Organizing
- Unpacking/unpacking
- Cleaning floors/walls
- Cleaning stoves/fridges
- Heavy cleaning
- Seasonal cleaning
- Blind/drapery/picture hang
- Carpet Cleaning
Outdoor Tasks
- Eavestrough cleaning
- Spring/fall garden and yard clean up
- Spring/fall garden and yard preparation
- Lawn mowing
- Edging/weeding/pruning/raking leaves/planting gardens/mulching/fertilizing/trimming shrubs
- Window cleaning for apartment or 1 story level home
- Replacing door locks and window catches
- Installing screens and storm windows
- Installing weather stripping around doors
- Snow removal (driveway and walkway clearing)
- Window air conditioning unit installation or removal
