Volunteers Make Waves at Links2Care- National Volunteer Week 2025

From April 27 to May 3, 2025, Links2Care proudly joins Volunteer Canada in celebrating National Volunteer Week (NVW) and the 24 million incredible volunteers across Canada who give their time, talents, and hearts to make a difference in their communities.

This year’s theme, “Volunteers Make Waves,” perfectly captures the spirit of volunteering—it’s about momentum, movement, and meaningful impact. Like a wave, the efforts of volunteers ripple outwards, touching lives in ways both seen and unseen.

At Links2Care, we feel the waves of support every single day.

Whether it’s delivering Meals on Wheels, providing warm companionship through our Friendly Visiting Program, or offering smiles and care at our Family Centres’ Programs, volunteers are at the very heart of what we do. Their dedication uplifts our clients, strengthens our communities, and fuels our mission of care and connection.

We truly could not do this without them.

To every one of our amazing volunteers: thank you. Your generosity of spirit, your kindness, and your commitment inspire us. Your efforts make a real difference in the lives of so many people, and for that, we are immensely grateful.
