CNOY Georgetown
Thank You for Making It Happen!
Wow—what an incredible experience Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) 2025 turned out to be!
We are thrilled to share that thanks to the overwhelming support of our amazing community, we surpassed our fundraising goal, raising a total of $64,083—that’s 106% of our $60,000 target! Every dollar raised goes directly toward supporting individuals and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in our community.
This year’s walk was filled with energy, smiles, and heartfelt moments as people of all ages came together for a shared purpose. It was inspiring to witness such genuine commitment and compassion.
A MASSIVE THANK YOU to every participant who bundled up and braved the cold, every volunteer who gave their time and energy, and every sponsor who stood beside us—thank you. Your efforts, enthusiasm, and generosity made this event more than just a fundraiser. Together, we made a meaningful impact, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
Event Photos by Greg Coman
We were also lucky to have the event beautifully captured by Greg Coman, a talented volunteer photographer who generously donated his time and skills to document the day.
- Free digital, low-resolution downloads are available for everyone to enjoy and share.
- For those interested, prints can be ordered directly through the gallery. While there’s no pressure to purchase, it’s a nice way to support Greg’s work, especially as he volunteers his photography services for events like ours.
Save the Date: CNOY 2026- February 28, 2026
We’re already looking ahead to next year! Mark your calendars for February 28, 2026—CNOY will be back, and we can’t wait to walk with you again as we continue making a difference together.
From all of us, thank you again for walking, giving, and caring. Let’s keep the momentum going!

About CNOY
The Coldest Night of the Year is a moment when tens of thousands of Canadians step outside the warmth and comfort of home and shine a light of welcome and inclusion.
Together, we’re collecting donations that fund critical services at a local charity partner who serves and supports vulnerable families and individuals in our CNOY community.
- We walk through the cold and dark in February to declare our concern for people who have no home and take shelter in nooks and crannies.
- We walk for those whose days are a battle to house and feed their families and whose nights are filled with fear and frustration.
- We walk for those driven from home by violence and abuse. And we walk for people overwhelmed by isolation, guilt, and despair.
- We walk humbly, realizing that anyone can lose their footing and then lose everything else.
Each step we take brings someone closer to safety, health and home, as together, we raise funds for organizations whose commitment and work transforms peoples’ lives.
